Sarasota Young Voices is a children’s chorus that has been building a love of music since 2007. Founded by Geneviève Beauchamp, the choir has quickly become one of Florida’s best. Every week, school-aged singers from Sarasota and Manatee counties get together to sing, laugh, and learn. They also serve their community by performing for a variety of events like the Sarasota Orchestra, Gloria Musicae, Key Chorale, and Belle Canto. As the Choir-in-Residence at Church of the Palms, Sarasota Young Voices performs monthly in one or more of their services. Each summer, the older singers also go on a tour of festivals and venues both nationally and internationally. Since its founding, they have traveled to Greece, Vancouver, New Orleans, Quebec, Denver, Paris, London, and Dublin. These experiences help to build their musical skills and provide memories that will last a lifetime. Sarasota Young Voices is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for children to express themselves through music. With their love of music and commitment to their community, this chorus has quickly become one of Florida’s best. Every week, they come together to create something special and to make lasting memories.

Welcome to the premier swim school in Sarasota, Florida! We specialize in teaching children as young as four months old about the importance of water safety and survival. It was a momentous occasion for differently-abled children and adults in Sarasota and Manatee counties who have been yearning for the chance to play baseball. The Miracle League of Manasota, a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to providing this opportunity for those in our community. The day was made extra special as our first-class, synthetically-surfaced baseball field was opened at Longwood Park just off University Blvd. Everyone in attendance was filled with excitement and joy at the thought of playing America's favorite pastime. The Miracle League of Manasota provides an inclusive and accessible environment where everyone can have fun playing baseball, regardless of their ability. The league is open to children and adults of all ages and abilities, and everyone is welcome. The field at Longwood Park is custom-built for the league, with a synthetic turf that is safe and comfortable for our athletes. The Miracle League of Manasota is a unique and special place, where the thrill of playing America's favorite pastime is available to all. The Miracle League of Manasota is an incredible organization that is dedicated to giving children and adults of all abilities the chance to experience the joys of baseball. The league has created a field specifically for their athletes that is safe and enjoyable, and the synthetic turf helps to ensure that everyone can play safely and comfortably. On March 17, 2012, the Miracle League of Manasota opened the first game on their field and began a journey that has brought so much joy to the Sarasota and Manatee counties. With the Miracle League of Manasota, everyone has the chance to play America's favorite pastime.

The Sarasota Music Conservatory was established in 2008 by husband and wife violinists Sean O'Neil and Lena Cambis. Both were members of the Sarasota Orchestra and wanted to offer their students a more comprehensive musical education. The founders believed in the European Music Conservatory format and so adopted it for their own school. In 2012, the conservatory achieved its non-profit status, and at this point the couple decided to change the name to better represent their vision: Sarasota Music Conservatory. Located in downtown Sarasota, the conservatory provides a comprehensive musical education and a faculty made up of professional performing artists from some of the world's most prestigious music institutions. The Sarasota Music Conservatory offers students the opportunity to learn from highly qualified, experienced professionals. Each faculty member is trained at a world-renowned music school such as Juilliard, Colburn, CIM, Curtis, or the Royal College of Music. For over 45 years, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) has been a leader in the American theatre scene. Founded in 1973, FST has developed into a vibrant village of five theatres in the heart of Downtown Sarasota. Each theatre is small in size, but the impact they have is large – providing engaging and intimate settings for professional performances. At Sarasota School of Glass, learning and creating is an ongoing process. We are proud to be able to offer a variety of classes, workshops, and open studio opportunities that not only help our students increase their skills, but also foster a nurturing atmosphere. Recently, SSG has expanded its work space, allowing for more students to join the community. We are now staffed with nine people to help support our students and ensure their success. We look forward to seeing what the future brings, and we are excited to see our students reach their potential.

The Cal Ripken Division of Babe Ruth League offers an alternative to the traditional Major Division format with a modified set of rules tailored to the development and welfare of young ball players. The Cal Ripken Division of Babe Ruth League follows the Official Baseball Rules, but has some special rules to keep the game fun for young players. For instance, the pitching distance is only 50 feet and the base paths are only 70 feet. This division is an excellent way to help young players develop their skills and understand the game of baseball while having fun. The tournament trail in the Cal Ripken Division also provides an exciting opportunity for teams to compete from district competition up through the World Series.

At Longwood, there is something for everyone in the family. Families can enjoy a refreshing atmosphere while exploring the many programs and amenities that are available for all ages. Nestled in a quiet, relaxing environment, Longwood offers a variety of activities for all to enjoy, from 18 tennis courts (13 har-tru, 1 red clay, and 4 hard courts) with evening play available on 11 lit courts, to a recreational pool, pool house, children’s play area, and picnic area. Longwood provides an ideal location for families looking for a tranquil and fun-filled day. With all the amenities and programs available, everyone in the family is sure to have a great time.

Founded in 2009 by a passionate advocate for children’s health, HKRS is dedicated to combatting the increasing rates of childhood obesity in America. Our flagship program is designed to not only get kids moving, but to build confidence and self-esteem. We believe the program will continue to encourage kids to adopt a “Get Up and Go” attitude, embracing physical activity as a part of their daily routine. HKRS has since expanded to serve thousands of kids in hundreds of cities across the country.

Visitors to KMC Florida are inspired by the beauty of the modern Buddhist Temple and the tranquility it exudes. Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, our Founder, designed this unique structure as part of the International Temples Project and it was opened in 2011. A representation of the celestial palace of Heruka, the Buddha of Compassion, the temple is also a symbol of the stages of the spiritual path to enlightenment. One simply has to behold this beautiful temple to be reminded of the potential we have to better our human nature and qualities by developing the capacity of our mind. Sarasota Youth Sailing was founded in the late 1970s by Kathy Waggener, and began with seven students in the first class. In 1980, the organization was incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. Sarasota Youth Sailing provides a unique opportunity for children to explore the world of sailing. The original Clearwater Prams provide an exciting experience for children to explore the waters of Sarasota Bay. With singlehanded Laser Sailing, children can explore the waters independently. Sarasota Youth Sailing is a great way for children to gain confidence and develop skills that will last a lifetime. With the guidance of Kathy Waggener, and the support from the organization’s 501 (c) (3) status, children can be sure that they will be in good hands.

The brand-new BMX Supercross track provides the perfect conditions for both amateur and professional riders. The track, which is 425m long and meets the high standards of the International Cycling Union (UCI), is sure to be a hit with the best riders in the world. In addition to the dual start ramps (5m for the amateurs and 8m for the professionals), the track boasts multiple straightaways, state-of-the-art stadium lighting and a ProGate start system. Other amenities include a timing system, one-man gate setup, an asphalt pump track/Strider track, staging team area, parking, restrooms, concession stands and grandstands. Whether you’re an experienced BMX racer or a first-time rider, the new BMX Supercross track guarantees a thrilling experience.
