Visitors to KMC Florida are inspired by the beauty of the modern Buddhist Temple and the tranquility it exudes. Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, our Founder, designed this unique structure as part of the International Temples Project and it was opened in 2011. A representation of the celestial palace of Heruka, the Buddha of Compassion, the temple is also a symbol of the stages of the spiritual path to enlightenment. One simply has to behold this beautiful temple to be reminded of the potential we have to better our human nature and qualities by developing the capacity of our mind. KMC Florida is a place of peace and serenity, one that will truly inspire all who visit.

Meditation for Kids and Families
Family fun with meditation, stories and activities! This class helps children and parents learn together to develop harmony, confidence, and methods to calm their minds and be happy. Learn how to apply Buddha’s teachings on kindness for managing challenging situations at school, at home or at play by applying Buddha’s teachings. This class is most suitable for children ages 7 to 12. A parent or guardian must accompany their children.
