For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. Camp Carolina Trails is a one-of-a-kind summer camp designed specifically for children and teenagers living with diabetes. This incredible opportunity is offered each year by the American Diabetes Association, Central North Carolina and is held at the picturesque Camp Hanes. Here, 132 campers are welcomed each year with a variety of age-appropriate activities and accommodations. The beautiful Sauertown Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for a week of fun, learning and friendship.
