About Frontier Camp

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

Summer Camp Junior Weeks

Are you ready for the most exciting week of your entire year? Get prepared, because that's exactly what a week at Frontier Camp promises! For 7 days and 6 nights (Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning), you'll experience the best activities, new friendships, great food, catchy songs, hilarious skits, tons of fun, and impactful Biblical lessons. Each day is packed with a dynamic schedule, including 4 activity skill classes of your choice, delicious meals, Bible-based teachings, and a special evening event every night. Designed for campers ages 7-12, this week is the ultimate summer adventure! Important Note: Campers can attend a Junior Week in the year they turn 13, as long as they are not older than 13 during camp.

Summer Camp Teen Weeks

Get ready to leave boredom behind, because at Frontier Camp, there’s no time for it! Enjoy 7 days and 6 nights (Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning) packed with non-stop adventure. From thrilling races and water sports to rodeos, nighttime action games, laser tag battles, ropes courses, and cabin challenges, this week will be filled with laughter and unforgettable moments with friends. Plus, you’ll dive into relevant, Biblically-based teaching that speaks to today's teens. Designed specifically for campers ages 13-17, this is bound to be the most epic week of your summer! Important Note: Teen Weeks are for campers aged 13 to 17, based on their age as of September 1st of the camp year. Campers who turn 13 before September 1st can attend at age 12, and campers may participate at age 17 as long as they do not turn 18 during camp.

Rental Retreats

At Frontier Camp, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word in the beauty of His creation. We love partnering with like-minded organizations to help fulfill this purpose. Join us in the serene East Texas Piney Woods for a time of great food, fun, and fellowship. Our campus offers accommodations for up to 364 guests, spread across two campuses and two lodges. While our summer camp program keeps us busy from May through August, we’re delighted to host your group for retreats or events throughout the rest of the year. We look forward to serving you!
