Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios has been helping kids discover the joy of cooking for over a decade! This incredible success story started in 2008, when Founder Susan Caldwell first began the Lil' Chef youth fitness program. With the popular cooking classes, Susan decided to test the idea of a “kids cooking studios” concept. She began hosting classes and parties in her own home, which quickly outgrew the space. In 2009, she opened the first commercial cooking studio in Falls River Town Center in North Raleigh. With the overwhelming success of the classes and parties, Susan moved the studio in 2011 to the North Hills, a mixed use retail center in Midtown Raleigh, and opened two kitchens. Now, kids can experience the joy of cooking in a fun and safe environment with Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios!

Summertime in Garner just wouldn't be the same without a trip to Edgebrook Swim Club! Located in the heart of the neighborhood, Edgebrook offers family and individual memberships that give access to the pool from late May through early September. The pool features an 8ft diving well and is the perfect spot for a day of fun in the sun. Edgebrook Swim Club also hosts a variety of family events throughout the summer months. We have been teaching in Fuquay-Varina for over 40 years and we are looking forward to many more wonderful years ahead with a lot of great dancers and special memories! We strive to keep our classes small and intimate; this way, we can give each dancer individual attention. This has always been our approach, even before the Covid-19 pandemic. Our classes are taught by professional teachers with more than 100 years of experience. We don't just teach one dance routine; we teach the techniques of dance and how to dance. We believe in allowing each student to progress and grow at their own pace. We are passionate about helping our students reach their personal dance dreams and become the best they can be in all aspects of their lives.
