It was founded by a group of dedicated local men and women, who wanted to provide a place for the whole family to learn to swim and enjoy the summer months. Prior to CSC, residents had to take swimming lessons at Sandy Beach, which was challenging on days with bad weather. Now, the center provides a better suited and more predictable environment for students. The founders of CSC as well as the community have been incredibly supportive over the years, helping to keep the annual membership rate at a minimum. We are grateful for all the donations we have received and continue to rely on the help of our residents.
