About Cohasset Recreation

For 55 years, the Town of Cohasset has provided a summer Playground Program for local youth. This ‘non-essential’ budgetary item has been sustained thanks to the generous donations and sponsorships from local businesses and organizations. This program has been designed to be both affordable and self-supporting, with a weekly fee comparable to that of other for-profit camps. This program offers a safe and fun atmosphere with weekly entertainment, field trips, and daily special events. Over 500 children each year have experienced this program, and have included generations of families, as well as members of our staff. We know that there are many opportunities for sponsorships in the local area, and we understand that dollars are limited. However, we believe that our sponsorship program has a direct impact on hundreds of children and families. Sponsors will receive recognition on over 500 t-shirts, as well as on our fall town-wide brochure and website. Furthermore, local news media may feature your business as a sponsor from time to time.

Super Soccer Stars
At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. Our specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at his or her own rate while having endless fun.

Preschool & Kinder Tap & Ballet
In this class, dancers will learn basic Tap & Ballet skills. This class will perform 2 dances in the end of the year recital. Tap Shoes & Ballet slippers will be purchased through Xplosion Dance Center.

Hip Hop Tots & Kinder
In this class, dancers will learn the basics of Hip Hop while moving & grooving! This class will perform 1 dance in the end of the year recital. Street shoes or bare feet are acceptable for this class. End of the year recital is NOT mandatory.
