About Cohasset Swim Center

Cohasset Swim Center has been providing a safe, fun environment for the community for almost 50 years. It was founded by a group of dedicated local men and women, who wanted to provide a place for the whole family to learn to swim and enjoy the summer months. Prior to CSC, residents had to take swimming lessons at Sandy Beach, which was challenging on days with bad weather. Now, the center provides a better suited and more predictable environment for students. The founders of CSC as well as the community have been incredibly supportive over the years, helping to keep the annual membership rate at a minimum. We are grateful for all the donations we have received and continue to rely on the help of our residents.

Water Aerobics

Water Aerobics is a total body and core conditioning workout in deep water. Building up muscle endurance, stabilization, flexibility and support through various exercises. As you submerge yourself into the deep end of a pool for a water fitness workout, your body becomes weightless, giving you a new kind of workout challenge. While deep water aerobics has a low impact on your joints, it has a high impact on your cardiovascular system. Stretching movements are also a big part of this class. You may wear a flotation belt for support in the deep water, or rely on your own ability to float as you perform deep water aerobic routines. Flotation belts, weights and noodles available.

Red Cross Swim Lessons

We believe every child should learn to swim. Our swim lesson program runs two three-week sessions with classes offered in the morning, Monday thru Friday. This program is a six-level instructional approach helping swimmers of all ages and abilities develop swimming and water safety skills. It is designed to give students a positive learning experience and to help them be safe in, on and around the water. Our Water Safety Instructors are American Red Cross certified.

Family Nights

Bring your family out to enjoy time with your friends for Family Night this summer. The lawn behind the diving board will be open. Bring your own food or, on select Family Night, enjoy curbside meals from some of the most popular food trucks on the South Shore, including Mom on the Go and South Shore Taco Guy.
