ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition. At Cheshire Aquatic Club (CAC), swimmers of all ages had the chance to play a little basketball at the end of practice tonight with coaches Vanessa and Mark. CAC is looking forward to a great showing at the Connecticut Regional Championships next weekend. This is CAC's largest summer championship team in four years, with 27 swimmers competing. The meet will take place in two locations, Cheshire on Friday and East Hartford on Saturday and Sunday. CAC has gathered all the necessary information for swimmers, parents, and coaches to be prepared for the meet. The meet schedule includes information regarding events and hotel information. This meet is a prelims/finals meet, which means if swimmers aged 11 and over make the top eight (11/12) or top sixteen (13 and over) they will qualify for the finals at night. The hotel for the competition is the Hampton Inn & Suites in Farmington, with a rate of $150 per night on Hotels.com. Cheshire Aquatic Club is confident that their swimmers will represent them well and is looking forward to the Connecticut Regional Championships next weekend. With 27 swimmers competing, this is CAC's largest summer championship team in four years and they are sure to make a splash at the meet.
