About Einstein's Workshop in Burlington, MA

Einstein's Workshop is a hands-on community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. During the summer, we offer STEAM camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Camp topics include Minecraft, LEGO robotics, 3D printing, Dungeons&Dragons, science, math, chess, programming, game learning, digital art, making, inventing, and engineering. During the school year we offer classes on the same topics and coach FIRST LEGO League teams. We host birthday parties for lovers of Minecraft, LEGO, and hands-on fun! Classes

Most Einstein’s Workshop’s school year classes are taken through a school-year-long “concentration.” Concentrations meet on the same day and at the same time all school year. Most concentrations consist of four of our popular classes for a given interest and age range. This way, kids can enjoy a school year full of STEAM learning and families get a consistent schedule. Students may join concentrations throughout the academic year, usually at the quarter mark. If students want to try something new, they can switch to a different concentration at the end of each quarter. Some of our concentrations may be entered on a rolling basis throughout the school year.

Field Trips

Einstein’s Workshop will work with you to build the field trip of your dreams. Whether you want to bring an entire grade from your school or a few scouts to work on a badge, we will work with you to design a rewarding field trip to meet your needs. Some schools tell us they come back year after year because they’re impressed with how well we deal with neurotypical kids and those who need something a little different. For example, we can arrange a quiet room. Typical field trips last two hours, usually 10 AM – noon, and include two to three 30-50 minute activities. Students are usually split into 2-4 groups to cycle through all activities. Pricing starts at $25/child. We don’t charge for adult chaperones. We recommend one chaperone per twelves students.
