At FCYD Camp UTADA, we strive to provide a fun, safe, educational, and medically supervised camping experience for children and youth with diabetes. Our mission is to help our campers develop an understanding of their disease and to build positive lifestyles that will enable them to reach their full potential. Our campers learn how to manage their diabetes and how to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Through educational activities and structured programs, campers gain a greater sense of independence, self-confidence, and self-esteem resulting in increased self-management of their diabetes. FCYD Camp UTADA has been providing quality diabetes camping experiences for over fifty years. We are proud to be accredited by the American Camping Association and a member camp of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association. Our goal is to ensure that our campers have an enjoyable, safe, and memorable camping experience.
