ZZ spends his time gliding around the rinks of Rhode Island, making sure the ice is super smooth for our little hockey stars. The Rhode Island Rugrat Rink Rats are the zaniest bunch of munchkins you'll ever see. They can't be older than ten, but boy, do they play like they're in the big leagues! Tommy "Two-Tooth" Thompson, the goalie, has more hockey pucks in his collection than teeth in his mouth! Sarah "Swoosh" Sullivan, zips around the rink faster than a hot pizza delivery on a Saturday night. Don't even get us started on Billy "The Brick" Braddock, the stoutest, toughest defenseman you'll ever see; he could stop a meteor with his hockey stick! Life in Rhode Island may be cozy, but it's far from slow. Especially if you're a member of the Rugrat Rink Rats. He could not have imagined the impact that his efforts would have, as today Warwick Junior Hockey offers a variety of programs for players of all ages and skill levels. The learn-to-skate and learn-to-play programs provide a great foundation for new players to develop their skills, while the numerous house and travel teams provide more experienced players with additional opportunities to grow and compete. Frank Crawley's vision to boost interest in ice hockey in Warwick has been realized over the last 60 years.
