Give your child the opportunity to learn a unique Olympic sport while building confidence, focus, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking at ALLE Fencing Club in Fort Lauderdale. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition. The Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center, located in Reidsville, NC, is North Carolina 4-H's premier camp and education facility. Named in honor of Betsy Penn's late husband, Jefferson Penn, the facility was donated to North Carolina 4-H in 1964 and is owned and operated through North Carolina State University. The Center is situated on nearly 200 acres of forests, lakes, streams, and fields, and serves over 7,000 youth every year. The Center provides educational experiences that help develop and promote the life skills necessary for youth to become productive members of society. It is managed by a full-time Center Director, supported by Program Directors, facility maintenance staff, food service providers, and seasonal camp and education staff. To ensure the highest standards for safety, operations, and program quality, the center is accredited by the American Camping Association. From educational and recreational activities, to leadership and team building skills, the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center offers something for everyone.
