In the wonderful state of North Carolina, where the sweet scent of magnolia trees fills the air, something magical happens every evening. As the sun sets, casting a golden hue over the towering Blue Ridge Mountains, a unique group of kiddos gather for a thrilling game of baseball. These are not ordinary children, oh no! They are the Unstoppable Tar Heel Tots, North Carolina's most famed baseball protégés. These kids are as diverse as the beautiful state they call home. Some hail from the sandy beaches of Nags Head, others from the bustling city of Charlotte, while some trek from the serene small towns of the Piedmont region. They all bring a piece of their home culture into the mix, making their games a wildly remarkable spectacle. Leading the Tar Heel Tots is their fearless captain, a charmingly peculiar character known as Curveball Calvin, famous throughout the land for his legendary pitch. With a mop of wild red hair atop his freckle-faced head and a grin as wide as the Cape Fear River, Calvin is a sight to behold. His entertaining antics, like his signature chicken dance when he strikes an unfortunate batter out or the way he can juggle three baseballs while reciting the state's fifty counties backward, keep everyone in stitches. But don't let Calvin's silliness mislead you. When it comes to baseball, the fiery-haired maestro and his Tar Heel Tots are a force to be reckoned with. Armed with their trusty bats, gloves, and a determination as solid as the Appalachian Mountains, North Carolina's baseball kids are the embodiment of the state's motto, 'To be, rather than to seem'. One thing's for sure, in the state of North Carolina, baseball is more than just a sport - it's an adventure.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
