Maine, a place where trees whisper secrets to the wind, where moose roam freely, and lobsters play hide and seek in the water, is their playground. And there is magic here, a special culinary magic. It's in the wild blueberries they pick from the enchanted forests, the apples that fall like raindrops from the orchards, and in the lobsters they fish straight out of the hypnotic Atlantic waves. Whilst other kids might be playing video games or watching TV, these kids are in their kitchens, aprons tied around their waists, armed with a cookbook in one hand and a wooden spoon in the other. They're on a mission, a delicious mission - to create the most scrumptious, taste-bud-tickling recipes in all of Maine. And who leads these Kitchen Knights, you ask? A cool imaginary character named Chef Muffin Moose, a jovial giant moose with a toque blanche (that's a chef's hat, for the uninitiated), and a spatula bigger than your average skateboard. He guides them through their culinary adventures, cracking jokes that make the lobsters chuckle in their pots, and spinning tales about the legendary food warriors of old. The US Engineering League is a prominent nationwide establishment that passionately supports STEM-focused education. We believe in the power of experiential learning and thus emphasize hands-on learning through competitive challenges. Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. In addition to robotics, our educational offerings span across various STEM sectors such as coding, eSports, engineering, science and more. We're delighted to be connected with several of the most prominent STEM competition organizations. Our primary learning center is nestled in the heart of Naperville, IL. However, we understand the importance of accessibility and have therefore expanded our reach. We offer our well-rounded programs at a range of locations including schools, community centers, park districts, libraries, and even religious institutions. We are committed to making our educational opportunities available to as many children as possible, regardless of their location. Parents, give your kids the experience of a lifetime at Camp Mechuwana! Our summer camp program runs from mid-June through mid-August and is located on more than 200 acres of forest land. We offer 40 different weekly camps ranging from day camp, trip and travel camps, canoe camps, swim camps, music and theater camps, special needs camp, and creative arts camp. Our camp borders Lower Narrows Pond and Lake Annabessacook, and features nature trails, boat dock, a swimming area, cabins, theatre, chapel, dining hall, basketball courts, and a sports field. At Mechuwana, we create a caring and supportive community for all ages and grades, and host specialty camps for Moms and Dads and their kids, as well as Grandparents and their grandchildren. We also have a retreat center located in the foothills of Maine, and host non-profit groups year-round. Each season brings a new life to the camp, and we encourage everyone to come and enjoy God's creation in this special place.
