About Camp Mechuwana

Parents, give your kids the experience of a lifetime at Camp Mechuwana! Our summer camp program runs from mid-June through mid-August and is located on more than 200 acres of forest land. We offer 40 different weekly camps ranging from day camp, trip and travel camps, canoe camps, swim camps, music and theater camps, special needs camp, and creative arts camp. Our camp borders Lower Narrows Pond and Lake Annabessacook, and features nature trails, boat dock, a swimming area, cabins, theatre, chapel, dining hall, basketball courts, and a sports field. At Mechuwana, we create a caring and supportive community for all ages and grades, and host specialty camps for Moms and Dads and their kids, as well as Grandparents and their grandchildren. We also have a retreat center located in the foothills of Maine, and host non-profit groups year-round. Each season brings a new life to the camp, and we encourage everyone to come and enjoy God's creation in this special place. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Camp Mechuwana this summer! With a variety of activities to choose from, kids of all ages are sure to have an amazing experience!

Mechuwana Day Camp

For children ages 5-11. Schedule for each week is 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Day Camp offers boating, swimming, story time, arts & crafts, and more. Cost per week of Day Camp is $175. Call or email the office for a Day Camp brochure. Snacks provided by camp. Please supply lunch for your child(ren).

Specialty Day Camp: Fabric & Friends

For campers finishing Grades 5-8 Come and learn to sew or improve those skills that you already have. We have an experienced staff of sewers ready to teach you basic sewing skills and more. We'll be sewing something for missions and to take home. You'll be helping others in need, and you'll go home and show your friends what you can do with your new skills! There will be more fun at camp doing other camp activities

Night Camp

For campers finishing Grades 6-12. Night Camp is back! Do you love staying up late and sleeping in each morning? Come to camp to enjoy all of your favorite activities like boating, swimming, arts ‘n crafts, and games — but at night instead of during the day! Get your registration in soon – this camp fills up quickly!
