Down in the sun-dappled state of Georgia, where peaches grow as big as your head and the sweet tea flows like a river, there's a group of kids who've discovered the secret to flying. Meet the Zip Zap Zipliners, a gang of pint-sized thrill-seekers, who spend their days soaring through the verdant treetops on a zip line, as easy as you'd walk the park. Leading the pack is Levi "Lightning" Lawson, a freckled dynamo with hair to match and a grin that could outshine the Atlanta skyline. His name isn't just for show - when Levi jumps on a zip line, he zips so fast, he leaves a trail of sparks! His friends swear they've seen smoke trailing behind his sneakers. Then there's Elliana "Eagle-eye" Edwards, the girl who can spot a squirrel from a hundred feet up. She's got a heart as big as Stone Mountain and a laugh that echoes through the Georgia pines. When she's not zipping around, she's saving critters in danger or dropping water balloons on unsuspecting park rangers - all in good fun, of course! Georgia may be known for its magnolias and southern charm, but for these kids, it's the ultimate playground. Whether they're racing through Savannah's historic oaks or skimming the surface of Lake Lanier, there's always another adventure on the horizon. So, if you ever find yourself in the Peach State, keep an eye on the treetops. You might just spot a Zip Zap Zipliner zooming by, leaving a trail of laughter in their wake.

At Wilderness Works, we believe that all children deserve the opportunity to be nurtured, experience adventure, and learn important life skills. For over two decades, we have been providing Atlanta’s homeless, at-risk, and vulnerable children with the year-round enrichment, experiential education, and character development they need to succeed. Our graduate programs focus on cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development, allowing children to grow up with us as they age from eight to eighteen. Our five chief programs - Day Camp, City Camp, Summer Camp, Core Camps, and Field Camp - provide a powerful alternative to traditional school learning, especially on weekends, school holidays, and during the summer months. We strive to ensure that all of our kids have the chance to be nurtured, explore adventure, and learn important life skills, helping them to develop a strong sense of self-worth and the confidence they need to achieve success.
