Wesley Chapel Coyotes Youth Football and Cheerleading is the perfect place to get your child involved in a fun and exciting sport. Our program is affiliated with Pop Warner, the largest and oldest youth Football and Cheer league in the world, and our local association is with the Foundation for Youth Development of Tampa (FYD Tampa). Our program offers four divisions, Tiny Mites, 8U, 10U, and 12U teams, and age is determined by the child's age as of July 31. We have recruited dozens of certified volunteers and coaches and partnered with over 40 sponsors who share our principles. We also added Flag Football in the fall of 2020. At Wesley Chapel Coyotes Youth Football and Cheerleading, we are committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for your child to learn and have fun. The Spring season is the more competitive season. Teams will be formed, practices will begin in mid-March, and games will begin in April and run through the end of May. Players will be placed in divisions determined by their age and skill level. The teams will compete against other teams in their division in an effort to win the championship title. Practices will focus on honing the players’ skills and strategies, and the games will focus on executing those strategies in a competitive environment. The WCAA Softball season is a great way for players to learn and practice the mechanics and fundamentals of the game, hone their skills and strategies, and compete in a healthy and fun environment. The Porter Family of Wesley Chapel generously donated the land and the facility has been named Wiregrass Ranch in tribute to the land's heritage. This one-of-a-kind sports campus boasts an impressive 98,000 square feet of space, with 70,000 square feet of total clear span hardwood surface. The Spring season is the competitive season for WCAA Baseball. Teams will play a 10 game schedule as well as participate in tournaments. Players will be playing on a full-size baseball field and using a regulation size baseball. The season begins in early April and concludes in mid-May with the tournament. WCAA Baseball is a great way for children to learn the fundamentals and mechanics of the game and practice their skills in a fun and competitive environment. The Fall season provides a great opportunity for players to learn and practice new skills, while the Spring season provides a competitive atmosphere to hone those skills. With the season beginning in September and ending in May, children can enjoy the game for the better part of the year.
