Imagine the sun shining, palm trees swaying, and the waves of the beaches in the state of Florida. That's right, kids! We're introducing you to the land of sunshine and oranges. But that's not all it's known for; Florida is also home to some of the most talented young sketch artists, making it the Sketching Capital of the World! Meet Shelly Sketchalot, a funny little pink flamingo with a sketch pen always ready in her feathers. Shelly is the boss of doodling and drawing in Florida and it's her mission to inspire all the kids to sketch their hearts out! She flies from one part of the state to another, lands on the sandy beaches, waddles through the swamps of the Everglades, and even perches on the top of Cinderella's Castle at Disney World, spreading her love for drawing! The kids that participate in sketching in Florida aren't your ordinary artists. Oh no, they're Sketching Superstars! With a pencil in hand and Shelly's guidance, they transform into superheroes, creating magic on paper. They sketch everything from swampy alligators smiling with their wide mouths, rockets at Kennedy Space Center soaring high, to the sizzling sunsets sinking into the Gulf of Mexico. Sketching is not just a hobby for these kids; it's an adventure, a way to express their brilliant ideas and thoughts, and an excuse to chuckle at Shelly’s comical sketches. Shelly Sketchalot always says, “In Florida, we don't just draw, we sketch our stories!” So come on kids, grab your sketchbooks and let's join Shelly in the Florida’s sketching extravaganza!
