In the ever-cheerful land of Wisconsin, better known as Wiggling Wisconsin, nestled between the twinkling Great Lakes and the whispering Mississippi River, a zany bunch of munchkins dance their hearts out. These aren't your everyday, run-of-the-mill kiddos, oh no, these are the Jiggly-Wiggly Wisconsinites, the most energetic and enthusiastic dance troops in all of the United States!

When the sun rises in Wisconsin, it doesn’t just shimmer, it shakes and twists, jives and twirls, setting the beat for the day. Among the cheese factories, dairy farms, and bubbling rivers, you'll find these jiggly-wiggly youngsters bouncing to their own rhythm. From ballet to boogie-woogie, from hip-hop to tap dance, you name it, and these kids can shake a leg at it!

Leading the pack is the stupendously silly and contagiously cheerful, Captain Cheesecurds. With a head made of the finest Wisconsin cheese and legs as flexible as rubber bands, he pirouettes, spins, and moonwalks with the greatest of ease. Don't be surprised if you see him doing the chicken dance one minute and breaking into some Zumba the next! His infectious laughter and wacky dance moves inspire all the kids to let loose and let their inner dancing star shine brightly.

At Camp Woodland, girls have the opportunity to develop problem-solving skills, take on new challenges and discover their strengths in a supportive environment. Our campers learn real-life skills that will help them in their future endeavors. They gain confidence as they explore their interests, build relationships and develop their unique talents. 

We strive to create an environment where girls feel safe to express themselves, take risks and be authentically who they are. Girls at Camp Woodland are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone and explore their potential. Our counselors provide guidance and support to help each camper reach her highest potential.

Crossways Camping Ministries is a multi-site outdoor ministry organization based in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We provide year-round faith-based programming for children, youth, families, and adults in northeastern Wisconsin. Since 1955, Harand Camp of the Theater Arts has been a leader in providing the perfect balance of arts and traditional camp activities. Located on the scenic campus of Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, the camp offers residential programs for campers ages 7 to 18.

At Harand, campers can explore the world of musical theater, while also enjoying traditional camp activities like sports and elective activities, off-campus trips and all-camp events. All sessions are capped off with incredible musical performances in Harand's 400-seat, state-of-the-art theater. The girls in the cabin become a tightknit family unit. They share stories of the day, discuss victories and defeats, and even braid each other’s hair. Of course, there are also plenty of opportunities for laughter and silliness. This is the special bond that is formed between campers at Chippewa. 

To further strengthen these relationships, we pair counselors with the same cabin of girls each summer. This allows the counselors to form a strong bond with your daughter over the years. We’ve seen campers form friendships that last a lifetime and it all starts with the shared experiences of living and growing together at camp.

DEBUT Creative Center & Theater-Studio is a dual-language (English–Russian) program where kids explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression. From theater and dance to fencing and stage performance, children can try new activities and discover their unique talents.

Small class sizes let instructors give each child personalized attention, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and confident as they learn. Kids build artistic skills while also developing social confidence, teamwork, and poise on stage and in everyday life.

Our programs celebrate each child’s individuality, combining fun, hands-on experiences with a focus on personal growth—all while keeping Russian language and culture an important part of the curriculum.
