Welcome to the wacky world of Wisconsin, a state as fun to explore as it is to pronounce! This magical land is a massive playground filled with juicy dairy delights, stunning landscapes, and yes, you guessed it - horses! Kids in Wisconsin don't just ride bikes or rollerblades, they gallop on glorious horses just as the sun is painting the sky with its golden brush. 

Meet our friend, Wiggly Wally the wisecracking weasel. Wally wears wacky woolen waistcoats, and has a peculiar passion for watching the horseback riders. He's no ordinary weasel, you see. He's a funny fellow who loves to make you laugh with his side-splitting, knee-slapping horse jokes. 

"Did you hear about the horse who moved to Wisconsin?" he'd ask, chuckling away, "He wanted to become a CHEESE-horse! Get it, because Wisconsin is famous for its cheese!" 

The kids in Wisconsin are just as adventurous and fun-loving as Wiggly Wally. They think nothing of saddling up their four-legged friends and heading off for a day of equine excitement. You can see them navigating through the lush green fields, their laughter echoing across the hills. Sometimes, they even engage in playful races, their faces flushed with the thrill of the ride. 

After a day of heart-pumping adventure, they gather around to share tales of their horse-riding escapades, their eyes twinkling brighter than the stars above. Their laughter and cheers catch the wind and travel across the state, spreading the infectious joy of the Wisconsin horse riders.

In Wisconsin, horseback riding isn't just an activity, it's a way of life. It's about the camaraderie, the open landscapes, the thrill of the ride, and of course, the chuckles shared with Wiggly Wally. So, grab your riding boots, Wisconsin kids, it's time for another day of horsing around!

Chasewood Learning

Towering Pines Camp is located in Northern Wisconsin, near Eagle River. It’s a place of 450-forested acres, spanning the shores of two spring fed lakes, Nokomis and Clear, in the heart of the American Legion State Forest. This overnight camp for boys ages 7 to 16 offers complete recreation, camping, and leadership opportunities, all accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA). With the Jordan family at the helm, each summer will be an adventure of individual discovery and ever expanding independence for your son. Join the extended family of over 100 boys and watch as they grow through the challenges and successes of camp life.

At Anokijig, the mission is to provide an outdoor setting and community that is based on respectful values, dedicated to the development of positive lifestyles, and focused on learning new skills and experiencing personal growth. In addition, Anokijig makes sure that children and families also have an outrageous amount of fun and develop an appreciation for our natural environment. 

The camp staff is passionate about helping children and families get the most out of their time at Anokijig. They strive to create an experience that is full of adventure and exploration, while also teaching them life skills and imparting important values. This is done through a variety of activities and experiences, all designed to foster connection, self-discovery, and growth.

Camp Nicolet in Eagle River, Wisconsin, is the perfect spot for your daughter to spend her summer! At Camp Nicolet, your daughter will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun activities such as horseback riding, water sports, and arts and crafts. Plus, Camp Nicolet offers a Leadership Program for campers ages 15 through 17. Through this program, your daughter will have the chance to learn important communication, collaboration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

From the moment their kids arrive until the time they leave, they will be surrounded by staff and volunteers who care deeply about their well-being. Hoofbeat offers a unique horseback riding camp experience for girls and boys aged 8-13. The camp provides an opportunity for children to learn the basics of horseback riding while building positive relationships with other campers. Day campers will learn the fundamentals of horsemanship, receive instruction in riding, and have the chance to explore the outdoors.

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will also benefit from the Hoofbeat experience. Our retreats and conferences foster teamwork and communication while taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. Our goal is to provide every camper with a positive, enriching, and safe experience.

At Sugar Creek Bible Camp, our mission is to provide an environment that offers a unique opportunity to connect with God through the outdoors. Our programs provide an opportunity for campers to have meaningful experiences while participating in activities such as swimming, canoeing, archery, climbing, fishing, and much more. 

Campers are also encouraged to explore their spiritual side through Bible studies, campfire talks, and more. Our staff are passionate about fostering an environment of joy, acceptance, and safety so that campers can have the best possible experience while at camp. 

Open year-round, Sugar Creek hosts overnight events every weekend for individuals and groups in three comfortable lodges, 16 cabins, and camping areas (RVs and tents). Food service is also provided by request. We welcome children, families, and groups of all beliefs and backgrounds for custom events and meaningful retreats.

At our camps, girls have the opportunity to explore and express themselves in a safe and supported all-girl environment. Our expert staff and Girl Scout sisters have been providing these opportunities for more than 100 years, giving campers the confidence to try new things. As a result, our campers develop courage, confidence, and character – qualities that will help them to make the world a better place. 

Through the dedication of more than 6,500 volunteers, we are able to serve nearly 18,000 girls in southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and one county in Iowa. 

Our camps provide girls with an enriching and empowering experience. With the help of our experienced staff and Girl Scout sisters, campers are encouraged to take risks, be creative, and develop their character. By providing a safe and supportive environment, girls can find the courage to make the world a better place.

At Camp Woodland, girls have the opportunity to develop problem-solving skills, take on new challenges and discover their strengths in a supportive environment. Our campers learn real-life skills that will help them in their future endeavors. They gain confidence as they explore their interests, build relationships and develop their unique talents. 

We strive to create an environment where girls feel safe to express themselves, take risks and be authentically who they are. Girls at Camp Woodland are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone and explore their potential. Our counselors provide guidance and support to help each camper reach her highest potential. 

Camp Woodland is an incredible summer experience that helps girls become confident, independent thinkers with the skills and strength needed to reach their goals. We make sure to create a space that allows each girl to express her uniqueness and develop her own personal leadership style.

At Badger Camp, campers are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow in a safe and supportive atmosphere. With an emphasis on outdoor recreational activities, campers are able to build self-esteem and discover new interests. Staff members are specially trained to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone. From archery to fishing, campers are able to participate in a variety of activities. 

The Wisconsin Badger Camp experience goes beyond recreation. Through the support of qualified staff, campers are able to develop relationships and friendships in a fun and safe environment. From campfires to group games, campers can build community with their peers and learn about acceptance and inclusion. Badger Camp is a unique opportunity to learn, explore, and grow in an inspiring atmosphere.

West Chester Academy is a vibrant center for the performing arts in West Chester, Ohio, offering kids a wide range of enriching programs in music, dance, gymnastics (including aerial silks), acting, and musical theatre. North Star Camp is a premier residential camp for boys located in Hayward, Wisconsin, on 120 acres of land featuring 2.5 miles of Northwoods shoreline. Accredited by the American Camp Association, North Star provides a structured but not regimented environment for campers ages 8 to 15. The camp’s diverse program offers activities and experiences in athletics, water sports, creative arts, and adventure programming, as well as age-appropriate wilderness trips.
