Once upon a time, in the playful heart of South Carolina, there was a riotous group of kids known as the Zip-Lining Zebras. Yes, you heard it right, Zebras! These kids didn't have stripes, and they didn't gallop around in grasslands, but they were as adventurous and energetic as the wild zebras. The state of South Carolina was their playground. It was a place that was as delightful and charming as a giant ice cream sundae. From the Blue Ridge Mountains that spread across the sky like a fluffy quilt to the coastal beaches that twinkled like a gazillion tiny golden hearts, South Carolina was a paradise for the untamed spirits of the Zip-Lining Zebras. Now, these kids were not typical - they were superheroes in disguise. And, their superpower was zip-lining. Instead of swinging from skyscrapers like Spiderman, they chose to zip-line across the lush forests of South Carolina, laughing and shouting with joy. Each zipping sound was like a giggle of a mischievous fairy, making the birds chirp in delight and the squirrels dance in rhythm. Their leader was Zippy Zebra, a boy who loved wearing his zebra print pajamas every single day. Zippy was as funny as a juggling jester in an upside-down circus. His jokes made the kids laugh so hard that they'd almost fall off their zip lines. But, don't worry; they were always harnessed safely. The Zip-Lining Zebras were the epitome of joy, courage, and friendship. They explored South Carolina, leaving behind a trail of laughter and creating memories that they would cherish forever. Their story was an enchanting adventure that captured the essence of childhood, the thrill of zip-lining, and the beauty of South Carolina.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
