Imagine a character named Bubbling Bob, a big, bumbling blue whale who’s more interested in belly flops and backstrokes than in being a colossal sea creature. He's not your average whale; he's got a sense of humor as giant as the ocean itself! He loves nothing more than cheering on the kids as they surf, kayak, and snorkel their way across Rhode Island's rippling waves. These RI kids, with their sun-kissed skin and salt-streaked hair, are the living definitions of water babies. They've got more energy than a hamster on a sugar rush and more bravery than a lion in a mouse convention. They fearlessly ride the waves, dive into the deep, and race along the rivers, always under the watchful eye of Bubbling Bob. The US Engineering League is a prominent nationwide establishment that passionately supports STEM-focused education. Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. We are committed to making our educational opportunities available to as many children as possible, regardless of their location. At Camp JORI, our outstanding program of sports, arts, adventure and special activities are enhanced by our Jewish and Israeli culture and our strong sense of “TACEO”- Taking Care of Each Other. Our campers gain independence, develop friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our camp is located on 75 pristine acres in Wakefield, Rhode Island and is a co-ed Jewish overnight and day camp for children in grades K-10.
