Welcome to the charming state of Rhode Island, or as our cool imaginary character, Randy the Rhody Raccoon, likes to call it - "the land of the teeny-weeny ocean state." Now, don't let Randy's jesting fool you. Rhode Island may be the smallest state in America, but it's packed full of big surprises! Here in Rhode Island, it's never a dull moment, especially for the sprightly bunch of kids that love hiking. These young explorers, who are as bold as Randy when it comes to adventures, frequent the many trails scattered around this little gem of a state. They tread through the lush woodlands, up the rolling hills, and along the breathtaking coastline, taking in all the delightful sights, sounds, and smells. These are no ordinary kids, oh no, they are the Rhode Island Rambler Rascals, just like our friend Randy. Just like him, they have an insatiable curiosity about nature and the world around them. They'll often be found huddled together, gazing at a rare bird species, debating whether it's a Bobolink or a Red-eyed Vireo, or, most amusingly, arguing about how many acorns Randy would need to last through the winter. Every once in a while, they'd stop their merry hiking adventures to roll on grassy meadows, mimic bird calls, and have spontaneous dance-offs! All the while, Randy the Rhody Raccoon watches their antics fondly from a tree branch, his eyes twinkling with mischief and laughter. In Rhode Island, there’s no shortage of fun, laughs, and adventure when you’re a hiking enthusiast like the Rambler Rascals!

DEBUT Creative Center & Theater-Studio is a dual-language (English–Russian) program where kids explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression. From theater and dance to fencing and stage performance, children can try new activities and discover their unique talents. Small class sizes let instructors give each child personalized attention, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and confident as they learn. Kids build artistic skills while also developing social confidence, teamwork, and poise on stage and in everyday life. Our programs celebrate each child’s individuality, combining fun, hands-on experiences with a focus on personal growth—all while keeping Russian language and culture an important part of the curriculum.
At Camp JORI, our outstanding program of sports, arts, adventure and special activities are enhanced by our Jewish and Israeli culture and our strong sense of “TACEO”- Taking Care of Each Other. Our campers gain independence, develop friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our experienced and trained staff provide safety and fun, and make sure each camper is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and have a great experience. Our camp is located on 75 pristine acres in Wakefield, Rhode Island and is a co-ed Jewish overnight and day camp for children in grades K-10. Campers have the opportunity to explore and grow in an environment that is uniquely Jewish-inspired and values-driven.
