With his clam-shaped shield and lobster-claw gloves, Captain Clam Chowder can snap a flag off an opponent’s belt faster than a seagull swooping in for a french fry. Now, these Rhode Island kids are a hoot. They could be seen darting around the football field, laughing, huffing, puffing, and occasionally tripping over their own shoelaces. No matter if they're from Providence, Newport, or little Block Island, they all share a common love for Flag Football. Here, size doesn't matter. It's not about being the biggest or the fastest.
