With a flash of his violin bow or a flick of his piano-key-flicking fingers, he could whip up a tune that would make even a statue groove. He was as famous in New Jersey as the Jersey Devil, but far less scary! Jersey was known for many things - its glorious beaches, the bustling boardwalks, the lush Pine Barrens, and of course, its legendary tomatoes. But, in Benny's eyes, nothing was as exciting as the sound of music echoing through the streets, from Cape May to High Point. No matter where you went in NJ, you could always hear the sweet melody in the air. Kids playing their harmonicas in Hackensack, trumpeting in Trenton, or belting out ballads in Bayonne. The Garden State was really the Groovin' State, all thanks to B-flat Benny and his band of musical mates. So, if you ever find yourself in New Jersey, listen closely. At Atlantic Coast Gymnastics (ACG), we are dedicated to introducing our youth to the unique physical and mental benefits of gymnastics. Our programs are designed to build confidence, poise, mental and physical discipline, determination, teamwork, and self-confidence. Since our founding in 1986, ACG has helped more than 100 youth become national qualifiers, and 25 have earned full or partial college scholarships. Our programs are designed for all ages and skill levels. We offer preschool and recreational gymnastics classes for boys and girls, competitive USAG and Xcel women’s gymnastics, and levels 2-10 and Xcel Silver-Platinum for girls. We also host summer camps, clinics, and other special events. ACG is passionate about helping youth learn and grow through gymnastics. We are committed to providing quality instruction and creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our students.
