But what makes it even more magical are the giggling troves of Brainy Bunch, each armed with their favorite tool – be it a microscope, a paintbrush, or a robot they've built from scratch! Our very own Brainy Bunch are not ordinary kids. They are super kids! They can unravel the mysteries of the universe, decode the language of computers, build towering structures, create enchanting melodies and paint their dreams into reality – all before they sit down for lunch! Our fearless friend, Bucky the Beaver, is their guide. Bucky, with his magnetic personality, and an infectious laugh that sounds like water splashing against the river rocks, wears a shiny lab coat adorned with all sorts of peculiar gadgets, all as colorful as his personality! In the heart of New Jersey, the Brainy Bunch, led by Bucky, turn ordinary days into extraordinary explorations. They dive into the ocean’s depths to converse with curious creatures, climb mountains to chat with chirpy birds, delve into dark caves to investigate hidden treasures, and even travel to the mysterious realms of outer space! Yes, it's funny, but it's also true! Because in the land of New Jersey, the Brainy Bunch knows no boundaries. The Black Belt Leadership Academy has a rich history that spans more than ten years, during which it has been pivotal in aiding students to sharpen their concentration, bolster their power, and enhance their self-assurance through exceptional martial arts instruction. Our branch in Wauwatosa is a welcoming space that respects and includes students of every kind, regardless of whether they're novices or seasoned martial artists. Each class that we provide is meticulously planned to challenge students at a personal level, while also creating a positive and rewarding ambiance. This individualized approach guarantees that all our students feel recognized and motivated, which leads to a more successful learning journey. At our academy, we're committed to fostering an environment that brings out the best in each student. Our classes aim to not merely impart martial arts techniques but also to instill qualities such as discipline, respect, and resilience. Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County provides young people, in Mercer County, ages 5-18, with social, enrichment and recreational activities. Our programs offered after school, on weekends, and over the summer, focus on improving youth outcomes in education, developing social emotional competency and leadership skills, as well as teaching youth to develop healthy lifestyles through physical activity and nutrition. Each year, more than 2,600 young people from around Mercer County, attend our programs. We are proud to have Club members from over 20 area schools, including teen members from five area high schools. We provide teens with access to college and career preparation programs, paid internships, mentorship programs and assistance with developing post-high school pathways. Every summer more than 700 children and teens enjoy swimming, art, sports, dance, STEM and exciting field trips through our Summer Camps. Always, child safety is our number one priority in all we do.
