In the morning, he brushes his teeth with glitter toothpaste, uses a comb made of colored pencils, and eats a breakfast of crayon croissants! The children of New Jersey are just as creative as Doodle McDazzle. Armed with tubes of glue, paint pots, and a limitless imagination, they are little wizards, transforming everyday objects into magnificent art. They can turn a simple rock into a cuddly pet, a toilet paper roll into a super telescope, or even a shoebox into a spectacular spaceship! The spirit of New Jersey thrives in these young artists, their hands as busy as honey bees, their minds buzzing with creative energy. They paint the town, quite literally, with their imagination, their laughter echoing in the air. Chi-Slam Table Tennis Club (Age 6–Adult) is Chicago’s premier table tennis destination, welcoming players of all ages and skill levels—from beginners just getting started to advanced competitors. Founded in 2003 and located at 2412 W. North Ave, Chi-Slam offers everything a table tennis enthusiast could want: one-on-one and youth lessons, open play sessions, league play, table rentals, and even pro shop selections like Butterfly equipment. Lessons are tailored by Coach Ardy, who brings over 20 years of experience and a passion for teaching that not only builds skill but also fosters confidence, coordination, and competitive spirit. Whether you’re looking for a fun after-school activity or serious training for tournaments, Chi-Slam delivers a community-oriented, energetic environment that makes every swing count.
Repenning Fine Arts has been a leader in the art community of Southern New Jersey for the past 35 years. We are proud to offer art classes to over 150 students every week in painting and drawing. Our full-service custom framing shop, art supplies, and art restoration are open to the public. Our staff is composed of experienced working artists who are dedicated to helping everyone achieve their artistic dreams. This year, we've implemented changes to our studio to follow the new social distancing guidelines in order to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. Everyone must wash their hands upon entering the studio and we strongly encourage the use of masks. To further practice social distancing, we have opened up our back warehouse and created two additional air-conditioned classes. We look forward to continuing to serve our community, and to helping people pursue their artistic goals.
