Led by their charismatic leader, a cool imaginary character named "Flash" - a friendly yet mischievous raccoon with a camera hanging around his neck and an uncanny knack for capturing extraordinary images! Flash has a unique power; his eyes can switch modes from macro to zoom in a jiffy, just like a camera lens! With Flash leading the path into mesmerizing forests, up the towering mountains, or down to the tranquil lakes, The Shutterbugs have captured images that make even the grown-ups gasp! They've photographed everything from the bashful moon winking from behind the autumn foliage to the cheeky squirrels that challenge Flash to a game of tag. Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
Windsor Mountain is situated in the picturesque pines of New Hampshire. Our beautiful lakefront setting provides the perfect backdrop for campers between the ages of 7-16 to explore, play and make lasting memories. With 2-week, 3.5-week, 6 week and 8 week camp sessions, campers have plenty of time to experience all that Windsor Mountain has to offer. Our free-choice program allows campers to decide what they want to do and encourages them to explore new activities, while our warm and inclusive summer camp community gives campers a sense of belonging.
