Give your child the opportunity to learn a unique Olympic sport while building confidence, focus, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking at ALLE Fencing Club in Fort Lauderdale. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. The 4-H Rural Life Center is an incredible part of Halifax County’s history. This facility preserves the original smokehouse, barn, chicken coop, cannery, washroom, water pump house, and dairy barn. To top it off, there is even an antique farm equipment museum and an old saw mill built in 1929. The 4-H Center also houses the Allen Grove Rosenwald School. This school was used to educate minorities from the 1920s to the 1950s and today is a lasting reminder of the importance of education. The 4-H Rural Life Center is a vast facility, spanning over 345 acres and bordered by Little Quankey Creek.
