At Cape Fear Studios, Inc. (CFS), we are dedicated to providing quality art experiences and educational opportunities to the Cumberland County and surrounding communities. Located in historic downtown Fayetteville, our mission is to involve, educate, and enrich the area with the opportunity to create and freely view art. Our main gallery and retail gallery are filled with beautiful artwork from local, national, and international artists. Since 2002, our community in Fayetteville has been able to come together and experience the joy of music. We offer a variety of classes and lessons to suit the needs of our students. We have private lessons for voice, piano, organ, guitar, and a variety of string, woodwind, and brass instruments. We also have group classes, which include the challenge and fun of making music in an ensemble. We even have Kindermusik classes for children ages birth through 3-1/2 years, as well as dance classes for children ages 2 through 8 years. At Snyder Music Academy, we also provide various performance experiences for our students, such as formal Fall and Spring recitals. We have pop-up master classes and workshops, as well as summer camps and intensives, providing both exploratory and concentrated music instruction. US Army Veteran Makeeka Harris opened Kidcreate Studio - Fayetteville after her exit from the military in 2016. After extensive research, she was drawn to the fun and family-friendly concept, and now enjoys seeing kids having fun and learning in a safe space. Makeeka invites you and your children to come to the studio to put on an apron and get creative. Messes are encouraged - after all, making a mess is the best at Kidcreate! Makeeka Harris is passionate about providing a fun and positive environment for children to learn and grow. She believes that Kidcreate Studio - Fayetteville is the perfect place for children to explore their creative side and be encouraged to make messes. As a US Army Veteran, Makeeka is dedicated to helping children develop their artistic skills in a safe and welcoming space. Charlotte Blume revolutionized the Fayetteville region when she arrived in the mid-1950s, bringing with her top-flight training and a commitment to high standards.
