Dear Families, Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people. Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment. At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new. Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special. Since 2002, our community in Fayetteville has been able to come together and experience the joy of music. We offer a variety of classes and lessons to suit the needs of our students. We have private lessons for voice, piano, organ, guitar, and a variety of string, woodwind, and brass instruments. We also have group classes, which include the challenge and fun of making music in an ensemble. We even have Kindermusik classes for children ages birth through 3-1/2 years, as well as dance classes for children ages 2 through 8 years. At Snyder Music Academy, we also provide various performance experiences for our students, such as formal Fall and Spring recitals. We have pop-up master classes and workshops, as well as summer camps and intensives, providing both exploratory and concentrated music instruction. At the Blue Violin Music Education Center, located in historic downtown Fayetteville, NC, we are passionate about helping our students become competent in all aspects of music. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing quality vocal and instrumental instruction in classical, jazz, and pop music. We strive to ensure that each of our students receives individualized attention to develop their skills. Our programs are designed to accommodate students of all ages and abilities. Our aim is to foster a love of music and the ability to use that knowledge in any musical arena. The Blue Violin MEC is committed to providing our community with the highest quality music education available.

Since its founding in 1994 by Lynn Pryer, the Gilbert Theater has been dedicated to providing Fayetteville and its surrounding community with quality contemporary and classical theatrical productions. All ages, from children to the elderly, have had the opportunity to experience the arts. We have also been able to offer minorities and those less economically advantaged access to the theater world. Local and guest artists have had a platform to display their talents. The theater was named in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette. We are currently located on the second floor of the Fascinate U Children’s Museum at 116 Green Street in historic downtown Fayetteville. Our Gilbert Education Program also offers a variety of classes and workshops for all ages to learn and express themselves through the performing arts. At LMusicPAS, we don't offer the same old music lessons. Our instructors and mentors are professionals who have dedicated themselves to teaching and investing in the next generation of performers. In 1962, the Fayetteville Little Theatre was founded by a small group of local actors performing two shows at Alexander Graham Junior High and the Fayetteville Courthouse. With the support of the community, funds were raised to renovate the building and incorporate two adjacent buildings. With the help of State Senators Tony Rand, Lura Tally, and others, the theatre was renamed to Cape Fear Regional Theatre. Today, CFRT is a three-story complex with a 300-seat main stage and contracts actors, writers, and designers from across the country. The theatre offers a six-show main stage season and robust education and outreach programs, reaching over 49,000 audience members a year from all ages and varying socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. CFRT continues to be thankful for the community’s support and commitment to its success.

At Cape Fear Music Center, providing exceptional customer service is the norm. Five long-time coworkers founded the company in 2006, after their employer closed up shop after 80 years in the music business. Since then, many of the music instrument industry's changes have forced competitors to close their doors. Despite this, CFMC has become a Rally Point for both Educators and Technicians. The people at CFMC are not only outstanding musicians and educators, but they also form a great family. Their individual talents are many and varied, but their greatest strength has come from their mutual respect and love for one another.
