At Camp Lakey Gap, we provide a week-long residential camp for people with autism. Our experienced staff is trained to incorporate evidence-based strategies for supporting people with autism into all elements of our program. We understand that everyone has unique patterns of strengths and needs, and our goal is to help campers and staff to learn to understand each other and themselves. We are proud to be a part of our campers' and staffs' journeys and to have had a positive impact on their lives.

Merri-Mac is located in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, surrounded by nature and tall trees. Campers can enjoy activities such as horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. Our trips to nearby attractions, such as the Biltmore Estate and water parks, provide campers with even more fun and adventure. At Merri-Mac, we strive to provide an atmosphere of growth and friendship. Our staff are dedicated to helping campers discover their individual passions and talents, while providing a safe and supportive environment.
