Their leader was Lyric Lenny, a fourth-grader with a wild mop of red hair and glasses as thick as Detroit’s famous deep-dish pizza. Lenny had the unique gift of weaving words into enchanting verses, just as Michigan weavers spun thread into colorful tapestry. His lyrics were so powerful they could make the Mackinac Bridge wobble or cause Lake Superior to laugh with joy!
