Meet our cool imaginary character, Mikey the Mighty Mitten, who is not only the state's unofficial mascot, but also the biggest supporter of these kickboxing kids. Mikey is shaped like Michigan's lower peninsula (which looks like a mitten, hence his name), with huge cartoon-like eyes, a wide, friendly smile, and a pair of thick boxing gloves to cheer on his kickboxing pals. Mikey the Mighty Mitten is often found ringside, cheering with a belly laugh that could cause a hiccup in the Mackinac Bridge. He is known for his humor and his quick wit, often making hilarious remarks like, "You punch like a Kalamazoo Kangaroo!" or "You’ve got the moves of a Motown Moose!"
