In the wondrous, wide land of Michigan, with its sparkling lakes and towering trees, live a troupe of the most creative kids you could ever meet – the Michigan Mischief Makers! This isn't your ordinary gang of tykes, oh no! These children have the awe-inspiring ability to transform boring, blank pieces of paper into magical masterpieces, using their secret power: Printmaking! Now, if you've ever seen Michigan, it's as diverse as a giant box full of assorted cookies. It has cities with skyscrapers reaching up to tickle the clouds, farms where the reddest apples and the plumpest pumpkins grow, and forests that are so thick and green, you'd swear they were painted by a giant with a super-sized paintbrush. And just like their homeland, these Michigan Mischief Makers are a mix of all things nice. There's Sam, a chap from Detroit who paints skyscrapers with such precision, you could see the tiny smiling faces in the windows. Then there’s Molly from Traverse City, whose cherry orchards come alive in her prints. And let's not forget about Bobby from the Upper Peninsula, whose prints of the Great Lakes are so realistic, you can almost hear the waves lapping against the shores. These kids know every nook and cranny of their splendid state and they pour this love into their printmaking. They dab, smear, and stamp, their laughter ringing out like a sweet melody, making the whole experience a riot of fun. So if you ever find yourself in Michigan, watch out for the magical creations of the Michigan Mischief Makers – they might just inspire you to join their printmaking parade!
