It's powered by the creativity of all Michigan children who love art and crafts! This incredible gang of Mich-Art-gan Crafters can make the most amazing works of art you've ever seen! From sculptures made of snowflakes on the shores of Lake Michigan to murals that can cover the high walls of Detroit's tallest buildings. They are the Picassos, the Van Goghs, and the Da Vincis of the mitten-shaped state! And the funniest thing about this enchanting group of talent? The more they laugh, the more creative they become! It seems like their creativity is fueled by giggles and chuckles. Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. Camp Concordia began in 1957 as an initiative of the Grand Valley Camp Association of the Lutheran Laymen's League. Since then, its mission has been to give children, youth and families the chance to encounter Christ in God's Creation. Through activities like swimming, archery, riflery, hikes, campouts, and more, campers get to experience the infinite love of God and learn to respect one another. All of this is overseen by trained counselors who are passionate about Jesus. In addition to having fun and making memories, campers also build strong missional skills and develop a call to action.
