Are you looking for a summer camp for your child with diabetes? Camp Midicha is the perfect choice! Serving 550+ children annually since 1955, this all-volunteer residential program is located at Camp Copneconic in Fenton, Michigan. At Camp Midicha, dozens of volunteers, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dieticians and more, give their time and knowledge to teach children the skills they need to manage their diabetes and live healthy lives. In 2017, Camp Midicha expanded to offer year-round programming, including a Family camp and a Young Adult camp (for 18-25-year-olds). This gives kids with diabetes more opportunities to learn, grow, and make friends throughout the year. Plus, the camp's location is ideal for parents looking for a summer camp in the Midwest.
