Einstein's Workshop is a hands-on community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. During the summer, we offer STEAM camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Camp topics include Minecraft, LEGO robotics, 3D printing, Dungeons&Dragons, science, math, chess, programming, game learning, digital art, making, inventing, and engineering. During the school year we offer classes on the same topics and coach FIRST LEGO League teams. We host birthday parties for lovers of Minecraft, LEGO, and hands-on fun! We also offer drop-in hours for spontaneous play in our STEAM Play Space.

We also strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. The Department of Recreation and Parks takes great care in maintaining our 65 parks, three community centers, and multiple facilities. From Glenview Mansion to the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and Social Hall, we pride ourselves in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all. We understand the importance of fostering relationships and providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together. That’s why we offer hundreds of recreational programs and activities each year to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. So come out and join us!
