Maine, known as the "Pine Tree State," is a place of lush forests, charming lighthouses, and the tastiest lobsters in the whole wide world! But did you know that among the towering trees and shimmering lakes lies a secret society of adventurous kids? Meet the Fencing Foxes of Maine - a group of amazing children who have mastered the art of fencing! As the sun peeks over the horizon, our daring crew, led by their fearless leader, Sir Foxy Flamingo, are already up and about, ready to conquer the day with their shiny swords. Sir Foxy Flamingo, a flamboyant flamingo who mysteriously ended up in Maine, wears a sparkling fencing suit and a mischievous grin on his beak. He teaches the Fencing Foxes how to parry, riposte, and make a brilliant lunge, all the while sharing tales of his daring escapades from around the world. These kids are not your ordinary Mainers. They don't just hunt for the most succulent blueberries or build the tallest snowmen. Oh no! They are busy training, their swords swishing and swooshing, practicing strategic moves, and having the time of their lives. Their laughter echoes across the spruce trees, and their shining fencing outfits sparkle like the North Stars in the night sky. Every now and then, they take a break to devour the yummiest lobster rolls and wild blueberry pies, because, well, they are in Maine after all! So, if you ever find yourself in the Pine Tree State, keep an ear out for the rustling of fencing foils and the giggles of happy kids - you might just stumble upon the Fencing Foxes of Maine!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
At Kingsley Pines, campers have the opportunity to make lasting memories and friendships to last a lifetime.
