For 55 years, the Town of Cohasset has provided a summer Playground Program for local youth. This ‘non-essential’ budgetary item has been sustained thanks to the generous donations and sponsorships from local businesses and organizations. This program has been designed to be both affordable and self-supporting, with a weekly fee comparable to that of other for-profit camps. This program offers a safe and fun atmosphere with weekly entertainment, field trips, and daily special events. Over 500 children each year have experienced this program, and have included generations of families, as well as members of our staff. We know that there are many opportunities for sponsorships in the local area, and we understand that dollars are limited. However, we believe that our sponsorship program has a direct impact on hundreds of children and families.
