In this land of clam chowders and dazzling fall colors, these sprightly kiddos have mastered the art of creating magical melodies. And their conductor? Why, it’s none other than the whimsical, wonderful, and slightly wacky Wally the Walrus! Wally, with his magnificent mustache and a baton that twinkles like a star, guides these music-loving munchkins through rhapsodies, orchestrates their overtures, and harmonizes their hip-hop. But don't let the walrus fool you! Though Wally looks like a straight-laced, serious sort of sea beast, he's known for his silly shenanigans. One day, he might conduct the band with a carrot instead of a baton, or replace a drumstick with a fish! His antics only add to the zest, as the music swirls and swells, filling the Massachusetts air with a symphony of sounds. These kids, from Boston to Berkshire, from Plymouth to Provincetown, come together, their instruments in hand and a song in their hearts. Lessons are tailored by Coach Ardy, who brings over 20 years of experience and a passion for teaching that not only builds skill but also fosters confidence, coordination, and competitive spirit. At Studio25, we strive to provide the highest quality of dance education, training, and technique in an environment that is both positive and friendly. The goal of our studio is to help our students to find and foster their own passion for dance and reach their individual potential. We believe that offering an atmosphere that is supportive and encouraging will help them to develop their artistic expression. Our Artistic Director, Erika Antonucci, is a graduate of Dean College School of Dance, where she received her BA in Dance and minor in Business. During her studies, she was able to learn from some of the most renowned teachers and choreographers, such as Maurice Hines, Derrik Grant, Rhapsody James, Kevin Mayer, Flo-Master, Luam, and Kelly Peters. Erika was also a member of the Elite Dean College Dance Team and Dean College Dance Company, and had the opportunity to learn from professional teachers like Jill Silverman, Nailah Randall-Bellinger, Jil Matrisciano, Kelly Peters, Jean Wenzel, and Joan Palladino. At Studio25, she teaches a variety of dance styles, such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip hop & Contemporary. Additionally, Erika is a certified Pre-School teacher, Infant Toddler Teacher & KAY Teacher (Certified Kidding Around Yoga Instructor). At Studio25, we strive to empower our students to find their own love for dance and achieve their individual potential. We are proud to have Erika Antonucci at the helm of our studio, as she has the experience and knowledge to guide our students and inspire them to reach their goals. Her expertise in a range of dance styles, as well as her certifications in Pre-School teaching, Infant Toddler teaching, and KAY Teacher (Certified Kidding Around Yoga Instructor) make her the ideal instructor for our studio.
Heidi is a proud 1994 graduate of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston with the American Society. The Dance Company, now in its 28th season, offers classes in TAP, JAZZ, BALLET, ACRO, CONTEMPORARY, and HIP HOP. Moreover, the "Heart & Soul" competition team, under Heidi's direction, has performed at some of the biggest venues, including Disney's Magic Kingdom in 2000, and Royal Caribbean's "Sovereign of the Sea", "Enchantment of the Sea" and "Mariner of the Sea". Heidi has been honored multiple times, being named Star Systems teacher of the year in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2009. Her mission at The Dance Company is to teach children the proper technique of dance in a patient and caring environment. Heidi is committed to providing her students with the best possible dance education.
