Little People's College was founded in 1980 by Sandy Rego and Joyce deSousa, two experienced public school teachers and mothers of preschool age children. The pair developed an innovative curriculum that taught the skills children would need before entering public school. Since 1992, Little People's College locations have been nationally accredited and have continued to pursue accreditation for new centers. There are currently 14 locations and the curriculum is reviewed and updated annually to reflect local, state, and national requirements. At Little People's College, children receive individual attention from highly qualified educators, thanks to the small class sizes. The curriculum is tailored to help children build the skills they need to make the transition to public school.
