In the heart of the United States, tucked between the rolling Mississippi River and the mighty Missouri, lies a magical land called Iowa. A place where a cornstalk grows in every backyard and pigs roam freely, as if they’re part of the family. Among the many wonders of Iowa, one of the most fascinating is the secret society of pint-sized anglers, known as the Fish-Whisperers. These fearless kids are masters of wrangling an army of wiggly worms, battling against the mighty monsters of the depths, known to us mere mortals as...fish. Leading this courageous crew is Captain Cormack "Corn Cob" Crowley. He's a ten-year-old legend with a fishing hat so large, it doubles as a UFO landing pad. His freckle-faced sidekick, Skipper "Soybean" Sampson, is always at his side with a tackle box, stuffed with everything from gummy worms to twinkling disco baubles, which they believe lure in the fish with their irresistible sparkle. These spunky Iowa kids spend their days waist-deep in the shimmering lakes, casting their lines beneath the cloudless skies. They tell tall tales of the monstrous "Catfish King" they once battled in the muddy Mississippi. Their laughter echoes across the water as they reel in their prized catches, from tiny tiddlers to big, brag-worthy bass. And when the sun begins to set, casting a golden glow over the cornfields, they pack up their gear, their hearts full of joy and their creels full of fish, ready to share their stories of the day's adventures. Because in Iowa, fishing is more than just a pastime, it's a way of life, a tradition passed down through generations, and a bond that ties these young Fish-Whisperers together in their magical land of cornfields and rivers.
