Once upon a time, in the heartland of America, there was a magical place called Iowa, or IA for short. This wasn't your ordinary state. Oh, no siree! This was a land where cornfields whispered secrets of innovation and the rivers flowed with creativity. A place where the scent of fresh ideas blended with the aroma of roasted marshmallows around the campfire. Iowa was home to a quirky group of youngsters, who had a knack for something super exciting called STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). These weren't just any kids; they were the whizz-kid wizards of STEM/STEAM. Armed with calculators, paintbrushes, gears, and a splash of imagination, these kids were engineering robots, conducting wild chemistry experiments, and forging ahead into the future with their mind-blowing discoveries. Meet Buzzy Binary, the cool imaginary character from IA, who wore thick glasses and always had a pencil behind his ear. Buzzy was as bright as morning sunshine and funny as a ticklish pickle. He would often say that his superpower was not flying or being invincible, but being able to solve complex math problems while munching on his favorite popcorn. He was a hero to all the STEM/STEAM kids in IA and guided them through their experiments with a mix of fun, laughter, and the occasional controlled explosion. Buzzy and his STEM/STEAM friends may have lived in the quiet state of IA, but their minds were filled with the loud roars of rockets, squeaky robots, and the wonderful world of coding. And so, they laughed, they learned, and they continued to make IA a place of endless possibilities.

Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. We are committed to making our educational opportunities available to as many children as possible, regardless of their location.
