In the sun-drenched state of Florida, where palm trees sway lazily and alligators smile toothy grins, there exists an extraordinary tribe of children - the ultimate aqua warriors. They are not your ordinary kids, no sir! They are the elite Swimble Wimble kids who spend their time splashing about in sparkling blue pools, conquering the aquatic world with their flippered feet and goggled eyes. Oh, but don't let those cute floaties fool you! These are no ordinary swimmers. They flip and twist, dive and splash, propelling their bodies through the water like mini, supercharged submarines. Their leader, Captain Snorkelfish, a wonderful, whimsical character with a starfish on his head and seashell earrings, guides these aquatic adventurers through their watery escapades. Every morning, as the sun paints the sky with shades of pink and purple, Captain Snorkelfish gathers his troop at the edge of the largest, bluest pool. His voice booms over the chattering kids, "Alright, Swimble Wimbles, it's time to conquer the water!" And with a tremendous splash, the kids dive in, their laughter ringing out across the pool. In Florida, these water-loving younglings are as much a part of the landscape as the vibrant orange groves and the flamboyant flamingoes. They flip and kick, making the water dance around them in joyous harmony. So, if you ever find yourself wandering in Florida, don't be surprised if you come across a merry gang of kids having the time of their lives, swimming under the watchful eyes of their quirky leader, Captain Snorkelfish. Remember, in the land of endless summer, a pool is a kid's best friend and a joyful splash is their favorite sound!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
At Tampa Pediatrics, we are committed to reducing the number of pediatric drownings in the greater Tampa area. We believe in the power of sensory-motor learning and muscle memory to protect our littlest swimmers. That’s why we have created a unique program that teaches babies and toddlers up to 6 years old how to safely enjoy the water. Our program starts with infants 6 months and up. We teach them a “fluid roll to float” technique that will help them stay afloat if they accidentally fall in the water. For toddlers who are walking, we have a “swim-float-swim” sequence that helps them develop the skills they need to stay safe. At Tampa Pediatrics, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn water safety. Our unique program is designed to give babies and toddlers the skills they need to stay safe in the water. With the right tools, we can make a real difference in reducing pediatric drownings in the greater Tampa area.

. Ms. Emma is a proud Londoner who has a passion for teaching and swimming. She married her high school sweetheart and went on to compete nationally and internationally as a swimmer for over 10 years. After retiring from competitive swimming, she began teaching Montessori and found that her experience with young children gave her the tools to deal with many different personalities. Ms. Emma found a way to bring together her passion for teaching and swimming when she began teaching swimming lessons to her older Montessori students. In 2001, she observed someone teaching infant survival lessons and in that instant she knew what she had to do. Her passion for teaching and swimming led her to become certified as an Infant Swimming Resource instructor in 2003, and since then she has been devoted to providing life-saving swimming skills to as many children as possible.
USA Swimming registration is an important part of being a member of the STA swim team. All swimmers must register with USA Swimming each year and there is an annual fee associated with that registration. This fee will be added to the registration each November for the upcoming year. If the swimmer is new to the STA program, they must also provide a copy of their birth certificate. Parents of STA swimmers are encouraged to sit away from the pool area during practice. If they need to discuss the progress of their child, they should contact the swimmer’s coach to schedule a meeting at a convenient time for both parties that does not interfere with practice. USA Swimming registration is a crucial part of being part of the STA swim team. Each swimmer must register each year with USA Swimming and pay the annual fee. This fee will be added to the swimmer’s registration in November for the upcoming year. For any new swimmers, a copy of their birth certificate is also needed.
