Once upon a time, in the sun-drenched land of Florida, where the oranges grew juicier than anywhere else, and the flamingos strolled with pride, lived a multitude of kids whose hearts beat for only one thing – soccer! These were no ordinary youngsters, oh no! They were part of the fearsome Flamingo F.C, Florida's most formidable and fun-loving band of soccer enthusiasts. The team was a diverse one, with kids from Miami to Jacksonville, from Tampa to Orlando. Every morning, as the sun kissed the Floridian shores, they gathered for practice at the Great Everglades Soccer Stadium. Here, under the watchful eyes of Mr. Gator, their crocodile coach, they honed their skills. Coach Gator, by the way, was the only crocodile in Florida who had mastered dribbling and bicycle kicks. He had a keen eye for talent and a belly full of hilarious snake jokes. Among them was Billy, the barefooted free-kick specialist, whose kicks were more ferocious than a hurricane's fury. There was also little Missy Sunshine, the goalkeeper with hands as secure as a pelican's beak. And let's not forget Pablo, the Pineapple-Head, with his spiky hair and speedy footwork that confused opponents more than a twisted flamingo yoga pose. The sun seemed to shine a little brighter when these Florida kids played soccer. Their laughter echoed across the state, from the sandy beaches to the luscious orange groves. They played not just for the thrill of the game, but for the camaraderie, the joy, and of course, Coach Gator's post-match stand-up comedy. And so, the story of the Flamingo F.C. continues, one goal at a time, in the heart of the sunny, soccer-loving state of Florida.

Dear Families, Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people. Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment. At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new. Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special. At First Naples Sports, we understand that sports can be more than just a game. In 1999, Lane Beatty, a physical educator, had a vision to create a new type of summer camp for working parents in Naples, Florida. The Sports CLUB concept was a revolutionary idea that allowed children to choose from a variety of activities throughout the day, based on 45-minute rotations. Lane’s concept was based on the type of sports and games he had played growing up in a small town in Northern Michigan. After a successful summer camp, parents asked to have the same choices during the after-school program as well. Thus, the non-profit organization Sports Camp, Inc. was formed and the after-school Sports CLUB program began. Sports CLUB is dedicated to helping children achieve a balanced lifestyle that includes equal emphasis on academics, the arts and athletics. The program provides students with homework help, arts and crafts, and a variety of physical activities between 2:45-6:30 p.m. Today, the program has grown significantly and is making a positive impact on over 1000 students in Collier County.
At i9 Sports, our top priority is engaging children in activities that are both enjoyable and beneficial. We recognize the importance of teaching our young athletes the values of cooperation, sportsmanship, and respect. Our team of highly trained and experienced coaches strives to make sure that each child has a positive and enriching experience. At Optimist, we are proud to offer a full range of soccer programs for the local community. Our 100% volunteer organization runs recreational, select, and travel soccer programs for all ages. Our success depends on the participation and support of coaches, players, and sponsors. To ensure our coaches are well-prepared, we provide field training sessions and practice plan materials. We also host two coaches' meetings each season to address issues and discuss ideas to help improve the program. Coaching is a great way to be involved in your children’s development and can be incredibly rewarding. If you’re interested in coaching, we encourage you to consider your availability when registering your children in the program.
