In the tiny, but mighty state of Delaware, the size of a pea on the map but a giant in spirit, there's a group of kids who are known far and wide for their amazing softball skills. These kids, known as the Delaware Diamond Dazzlers, send softballs soaring through the sky like shooting stars. They hustle on the diamond as if they have rocket boots strapped to their feet, and can catch a ball in their mitts faster than a frog zapping a fly with its tongue. Our story's narrator is a cool imaginary character named Dash, a sports-loving seagull with sunglasses and a backwards cap. Dash is the unofficial mascot of the Diamond Dazzlers, always cheering from the fences, his feathers always ruffled up in excitement. He loves the thrill of the game and the way the kids scramble around like ants racing for food. After each game, Dash swoops down to hear the buzz, offering a squawk of approval or a feathered high-five to each player. In Delaware, softball is not just a game. It's a hilariously fun adventure that brings families and friends together. The kids celebrate every base hit with laughter, every catch with a victorious fist-pump, and every run with wild cheers that echo across the state. Each practice is filled with hearty laughter and silly shenanigans, making even the most serious drills an absolute hoot. They might not be the biggest state, but the Delaware Diamond Dazzlers sure know how to have the biggest fun. Dash would know; he's seen it all from his perch, always ready to share the next amusing anecdote!

Founded in 1957, Naamans Little League's inaugural season was composed of 4 teams with a total of 60 boys with games played at Cohens field located at Naamans and Ebright Roads. As the league grew Pennington Field was constructed on Naamans Road in 1962, but was abandoned in 1967 to make way for the Channin Elementary School. Also, in 1962 the league was allowed use a plot of 15 acres on Silverside Road near Concord Pike,(now Concord Plaza) where Field #1 was built in 1962, Field #2 in 1966 and Field #3 in 1970. The organization grew so rapidly that by 1968 we had split into two leagues, thus Brandywine Little League was formed. In 1970 the Senior League program was added, in 1975 Tee Ball and in 1976 a Big League team. In 1974 the league had to relocate its fields again to a site behind the Alfred I. DuPont Elementary School, which is now the Concord Gallery Shopping Center on Concord Pike (Rt.202) and Mount Lebanon Road. This property was donated to the league by Frank Acierno and remains the home of Naamans Little League today.
