In a minute state named Delaware, lovingly known as DE, tucked away on the eastern seaboard of the United States, there's a lively, buzzing group of kids who are not your ordinary kids. They are the 'Green Thumb Gang' – a merry band of children who have turned the world of gardening on its head! These are not your ordinary garden-variety kids; they’re a bunch of soil-savvy, plant-prodigy, fun-loving Delawareans who are as chirpy as the birds on the Dogwood trees and as vibrant as the Peach Blossoms that the state is known for. They’ve got the cheerfulness of a sunflower, the spirit of a mighty oak, and the humor of a wisecracking watermelon. Their leader is a cool imaginary character named 'Captain Compost', a superhero with the power of photosynthesis and a cape made of recycled green leaves. Captain Compost, with his hilarious jokes that make even the grumpy gourds giggle, leads the Green Thumb Gang on their gardening adventures. He teaches them how to plant seeds that blossom into belly-aching laughter, and how to water their wit so it grows wild and free. These gardening whiz-kids and their eco-friendly superhero don't just plant flowers and vegetables, they sow seeds of joy, fun, and laughter. They teach everyone that even in the tiny state of DE, you can make a big difference in the world if you just dig a little deeper! So, the next time you see a magical garden sprouting with laughter in Delaware, you'll know it's the work of the 'Green Thumb Gang' and their fearless leader, Captain Compost!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.

Wilmington Montessori School is known for its exceptional summer programs. This year, they are offering a unique blend of activities that are both fun and educational. One such program is the highly anticipated Archery Camp, where kids will be able to learn the art of archery in a safe and conducive environment. In addition to the Archery Camp, Wilmington Montessori School is also introducing the Literacy Camp. This program is designed to keep children engaged in reading and writing activities throughout the summer. It's a great way to ensure they continue to develop their literacy skills even when school is out. There's so much more to explore and learn at Wilmington Montessori School's Specialty Camps.
