Once upon a time, in the fun-sized state of Delaware (DE), packed neatly between New Jersey and Maryland like a sandwich, a group of adventurous kids embarked on fantastic field trips. These weren't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill, snooze-fest field trips. Oh no, they were legendary, awe-inspiring adventures that would tickle the fancy of every young explorer! Leading these bold voyages was our cool imaginary character, Captain Noodle Doodle. Captain Noodle Doodle, with his squid-ink hair and googly glasses, was the most whimsically eccentric person in all of Delaware. He wore socks on his hands and gloves on his feet, always ready to turn the world upside down. His motto was, "The wackier, the better!" DE was the perfect playground for these voyages. One day, the kids would be scampering around the grand Fort Delaware, pretending to be ghost hunters. The next, they'd be exploring the lush landscapes of Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, engaging in a wild bird-bingo! Captain Noodle Doodle loved to surprise the kids with crazy quests at every destination. These DE kids were as fearless as they were curious. They were always up for a challenge, whether it was deciphering the Captain's silly riddles at the Hagley Museum or competing in a goofy race at the Dover International Speedway. Despite their playful antics, they were also respectful of the environment, picking up litter and leaving no trace behind. With each field trip, the DE kids discovered new wonders, expanded their knowledge, and grew closer as a team. Most importantly, they learned that learning could be a blast… especially when you're following a wacky captain named Noodle Doodle!

At Children's Beach House, our primary objective is to enhance the lives of children, young adults, families, and the wider community. We aim to assist them in recognizing, comprehending, and leveraging their unique abilities, talents, and resources. Our belief is that everyone has innate strengths, and our mission is to help individuals discover and utilize these, leading to personal and communal growth. Our Margaret H. Rollins Child Development Center is specially designed for children who struggle with speech and language delays. We provide an environment rich in language learning opportunities, where these children can interact and learn alongside their typically developing peers. This interaction paves the way for all children to acquire the crucial skills needed to excel in kindergarten and elementary school, thus setting them up for future academic success. Through our Youth Development Program, we strive to foster safe and nurturing environments that encourage children, young adults, families, and communities to establish lasting relationships. These relationships, in turn, create opportunities and provide resources that boost the confidence of individuals, helping them develop their natural skills and talents. Lastly, our social enterprise initiative, Greater Good Events, serves a dual purpose by allowing CBH to connect with families and communities during significant events, whilst simultaneously generating much-needed financial support for our child-centric programs.
